Driven piles
Driven piles are reinforced concrete rods with a pointed end. They are characterized by high strength and are used in residential and industrial construction.
When building in conditions of permafrost, complex terrain and on some types of complex soils, pile foundations are the optimal or only possible solution.
Driven supports are made of B22.5 grade concrete and reinforced with steel structures. When erecting the foundation, the supports are pressed or hammered into the soil with a kind of machine to a depth of 3 m (the installation depth depends on the soil and the weight of the above-foundation part of the structure). The tip of the pile is located in the dense bearing layers of the soil below the freezing level, so the structure remains stable even with significant seasonal movements of the soil rocks.
Reinforced concrete piles evenly distribute the load from the building and do not sag. The technology is used for the construction of heavy brick and panel buildings and is suitable for structures made of concrete blocks (foam concrete, aerated concrete).
